Interface Summary

Callback	Used for pipelined and non-blocking HttpURLConnections.
ConnectionIOListener	This is used to get direct access to all data on the socket connections associated with HTTP.
Credential	The Credential interface is implemented by classes that contain credential (user/password) information for an authentication protocol.
HostnameVerifier	An interface to allow the acceptance of SSL connections where the hostname does not match the host on the certificate.
HttpUserAgent	Represents the user agent for the HTTP client.

Class Summary

AbstractCallback	Default implementation of the Callback interface that does nothing.
AbstractSocketFactory	Creates the Socket to be used by the HTTP connection.
Cookie	HTTP "magic-cookie" represents a piece of state information that the HTTP agent and the target server can exchange to maintain a session.
CookieContainer	Holds a set of cookies.
CookiePolicy	Cookie management policy class.
HttpConnectionManager	Creates and manages a pool of HttpConnections.
HttpURLConnection	A URLConnection with support for HTTP-specific features.
NtlmCredential	Contains the credentials specific to the NTLM authentication protocol.

Exception Summary

AutomaticHttpRetryException	Used to tell the user that a failure occurred in processing connection, but that it will be automatically retried.
HttpException	Signals that an HTTP or HttpClient exception has occurred.
HttpRetryException	Used when an HTTP request requires a retry, but cannot be retried automatically because streaming mode (HttpURLConnection.set[...]StreamingMode()) was enabled.
HttpTimeoutException	Indicates a timeout has occurred.
